How to Replace Front Brake Pads and Rotors on a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta TDI
In this video, I demonstrate how to replace the front brake pads and rotors on
a 2004 VW Jetta TDI. This job is fairly straightforward and the average do it
yourselfer should have no problem with it.

– Brake rotors
– Brake pads
– Anti-seize lubricant
– Silicone brake lubricant
– Disk brake quiet (the silicone brake lubricant can be used on the backs of
the pads if you don’t want to buy the disk brake quiet)

– 3/8″ ratchet with a 7mm hex key socket
– Pry bar
– Large flat blade screwdriver
– little hammer
– big hammer
– impact driver
– #2 Philips screwdriver
– 11/16″ or 17mm socket with a breaker bar to remove wheel studs
– Trusty wire brush
– 4″ C-clamp
